Once you have installed an SSL Certificate on your site, you need to change Google Analytics to https:// to accurately track your website statistics.
How to Change Google Analytics to HTTPS

Step 1: Go to Google Analytics Admin Screen
Log on to Google Analytics, and click on the gear in the bottom left corner. That will take you to the Admin Screen.

Step 2: Go to Google Analytics Property Settings
On the Google Analytics Admin Screen, click on Property Settings.

Step 3: Change the Default URL
In the Google Analytics Property Settings, change the Default URL to HTTPS.

Step 4: Return to the Google Analytics Admin Screen
Click on the back arrow to return to the Admin Screen.

Step 5: Go to Google Analytics View Settings
On the Google Analytics Admin Screen, click on View Settings.

Step 6: Change the Website’s URL
In the Google Analytics View Settings, change the Website’s URL to HTTPS.
Google Analytics will now include traffic to your https:// address.
Don’t forget to also add your https:// URLs to Google Search Console and submit your sitemaps to the preferred https:// version of our site.
